Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise in early childhood special education to a rewarding, full-time contract working with preschool students. This onsite opportunity focuses on delivering meaningful educational experiences and individualized support to students with diverse needs. What you’ll need:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Approved credentials for Early Childhood Special Education (see acceptable DOE certifications for ages birth through 8).
• Experience with standardized assessments for eligibility and general education in literacy and math.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience with preschool-aged students and managing varying abilities is highly desirable.
• Flexibility and readiness to collaborate in both in-class and pull-out instructional settings.
• Ability to complete a background check upon acceptance.

Your responsibilities:

• Assessing preschool students to determine eligibility and programming needs.
• Designing and implementing individualized educational plans within a continuum of services.
• Teaching and supporting a caseload of up to 15 young learners with disabilities.
• Engaging in classroom-based and pull-out sessions as determined by student needs.
• Planning and collaborating every Friday with the team to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Participating in virtual interviews via Google Meets (please ensure a current, accurate email address for this process).
