Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives by taking on a rewarding role as a Special Education Teacher in a well-supported elementary school setting near Denver, Colorado. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 6, 2026 through May 26, 2027, allowing you to specialize in either Math or Literacy while managing a dedicated K-5 caseload. You'll play a vital role as both instructor and case manager—teaching all 20 students, while providing targeted support for approximately 10 assigned students.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially in special education settings
• Colorado state licensure (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
• Demonstrated leadership in classroom settings with paraeducators or instructional aides
• Strong organizational and communication skills, especially in virtual and panel interview settings

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a classroom alongside 3-4 paraprofessionals, fostering a nurturing learning environment
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Deliver direct instruction in your area of specialization (Math or Literacy) to K-5 students
• Manage all case documentation, communication, and ongoing reporting for assigned students
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, administrators, and parents
