This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment. As a 1:1 Paraprofessional or PCA substitute, you’ll play a key part in helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Skills and Experience Sought:

• Experience working with children or in educational settings preferred
• Ability to provide personal care to students requiring additional support
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to be adaptable and take direction from teachers and administrators
• Reliability and professionalism for per diem assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with and support students in a one-on-one capacity throughout the school day
• Assist with academic tasks, classroom participation, and transitions
• Provide encouragement and monitor students’ well-being
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
• Offer support with personal care needs where appropriate
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families as needed
