Position Summary We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our team in managing a caseload of personal injury matters. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a litigation environment. You will play an essential role in preparing cases for trial, managing discovery, communicating with clients, and supporting an assigned attorney through every stage of litigation. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and settlement documents. Organize and maintain comprehensive case files—both physical and electronic. Assist with discovery, including document collection, production, and review. Prepare medical chronologies, damage summaries, and deposition digests. Coordinate depositions, mediations, IMEs, and expert witness engagements. Serve as a liaison between clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel. Maintain litigation calendars, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings. Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, witness lists, and other trial-related materials. Provide in-trial support and attend trials, depositions, or hearings as needed. Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree; Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred. Minimum of 1 year of litigation paralegal experience, in personal injury law. Understanding of Illinois court procedures, e-filing, and applicable deadlines. Exceptional communication, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a high-volume practice. Compassionate, client-focused demeanor with a commitment to service excellence.
