• Job Setting: Hospital System - 10 Anesthesia Rooms; Charting System: Epic
• Types of Cases: General, Orthopedic, OB (Obstetrics), Pediatrics
• Credentialing: Estimated Privileging Timeframe: 90 days; Accelerated Privileges: No; Willing to Accept Candidates Needing State License: Yes
• Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs; MD to CRNA ratio: 1:4; MDs also doing their own cases

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Minimum Requirements

• Certifications: Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Licensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education; Willing to obtain state license if not currently held
