School Psychologist

School Psychologist - Remote Location: Rock Hill, SC (Remote - Must Reside in South Carolina) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide psychological evaluation and educational support services for students. This role involves conducting assessments, preparing reports, providing educational recommendations, consulting with staff and families, and supporting student success through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to schools and other designated locations throughout South Carolina when required for student assessments, testing, meetings, professional development, and other school-related activities. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological, academic, and other educational assessments for students. Prepare and maintain evaluation reports and documentation in compliance with state regulations. Review and ensure compliance of newly received and existing special education documents. Lead evaluation team meetings and participate in intervention assistance teams. Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support student academic and emotional needs. Provide recommendations and consultation regarding educational programming and interventions. Assist with staff and parent training related to special education and student mental health. Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes affecting special education eligibility and services. Participate in school committees, professional development activities, and special projects. Additional Requirements & Travel Expectations Attend local student outings 1-2 times per semester. Participate in in-person professional development sessions 1-3 times per semester. Attend back-to-school professional development in July (1-3 consecutive days). Participate in in-person student testing and evaluation activities. Travel throughout South Carolina to conduct in-person student assessments as needed. Collaborate with school staff, students, and families during on-site visits and evaluations. Additional travel details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid South Carolina educator certification with a School Psychology certification field. Previous experience as a School Psychologist preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems.
