Overview Washington, D.C. office of a leading law firm seeks a mid-level employment law associate attorney with 3-5 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience. The candidate should have demonstrated experience with discovery and motions practice in state and federal courts and with the EEOC. Admission to the District of Columbia Bar is required. Responsibilities Participate in all aspects of litigation, from interviewing clients to assisting with trials, depositions, hearings, and mediations. Maintain extensive client contact; participate in case development and strategy; play an integral role in case progression. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents. Qualifications 3-5 years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience. Experience with discovery and motions practice in state and federal courts and with the EEOC. Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
