Employment Litigation Attorney

Location: Hybrid: some on-site work required in MD/D.C./VA. Salary: $120,000 - $220,000. Hiring Timeline: 1–2 weeks. Qualifications Litigation experience. Strong writing skills. Bar admission (MD preferred; other jurisdictions eligible for prompt admission in MD, VA, or D.C.). Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school. Experience in employment & labor law (preferred). Exceptional civil litigation experience with ability to learn quickly is acceptable. Smithey Law Group LLC is expanding its litigation team and seeks exceptional attorneys across a range of experience levels. As an attorney at our firm, you will receive meaningful responsibility early in your career. Depending on experience, you will manage client relationships, conduct depositions, appear in court, participate in mediations, develop litigation strategy, and prepare cases for trial with support from experienced colleagues. Employment law experience is strongly preferred but not required for candidates with exceptional civil litigation experience and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
