Program Enrollment Specialist (MI) | GT Independence The Tone: This is a full-time hybrid role at GT Independence, located in Michigan, requiring frequent travel. GT Independence is a national leader in providing personal and financial services, empowering individuals to manage their own home- and community-based care. This role is crucial for guiding consumers and their support networks through the enrollment process, ensuring they understand and can utilize self-direction services to live the life they choose. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Full-time Location: Hybrid, MI Team: Enrollment team Mission: To ensure consumers successfully enroll in and understand financial management services for self-directed care. Tech Stack: Microsoft Office products What You’ll Actually Do Conduct face-to-face and virtual enrollment processes with the person served and their circle of support in a timely manner. Verify enrollment documents are complete and accurate. Advocate for and promote self-direction by educating consumers and facilitating their understanding of this model of care. Suggest improvements to internal processes and systems to prevent future issues and enhance the service experience. Uphold strict confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should have experience relevant to the position or an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Services/Social Work, or Marketing/Communication. Experience: 1 year of experience in a related field, particularly with Microsoft Office products. Skills: Strong oral and written communication, understanding of principles and processes for providing customer service, ability to participate effectively in a team, and knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as word processing, managing files and records, and terminology.
