Mid-sized Law Firm seeks an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant to provide direct support to our Litigation Attorneys. The ideal candidate will have extensive civil litigation experience and be comfortable independently managing litigation-related assignments, drafting legal documents, coordinating filings, and assisting attorneys throughout the life cycle of a case.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other court documents; calendaring hearings and litigation deadlines; coordinating and completing e-filings in multiple state and federal courts; handling client communications and client-facing system updates; opening, maintaining, and updating case files through the Firm’s case management system; and providing direct assistance to attorneys in managing active case files and litigation matters.

Qualifications/Job Requirements:

· Paralegal Certificate from an accredited and approved paralegal education program.

· 10+ years of substantive civil litigation paralegal experience

· Extensive hands-on experience supporting attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle

· Strong legal drafting skills, including pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other court documents

· Multi-state and federal court e-filing experience

· Direct attorney support and case management experience, including deadlines, filings, and active litigation matters

· Knowledge of court- and county-specific filing procedures, including hearing requests and calendaring

· Proven ability to independently manage multiple cases, priorities, and deadlines

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and Adobe

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong client service, professional communication, and attention to detail

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

· Mortgage and title industry experience highly preferred

· Legal calendaring and Notary experience a plus

Pay range is $33-$38 per hour and is based on experience. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based on performance and Firm approval. During the initial training period of approximately 30 days, regular in-office attendance, Monday through Friday will be required.

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check prior to the initial start date.
