Overview Corewell Health is offering a sign‑on bonus of up to $1,000 for external hires for the Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Blodgett Hospital provides patient‑focused inpatient care in 248 private rooms and outpatient services for medical, surgical, and specialty care. This is a part‑time position with 4 scheduled hours per week, typically on weekends. Scope of Work Provide speech and language therapy to patients based on patient needs and medical direction. Provide patient and caregiver education and arrange for adaptive equipment as needed. Qualifications Master’s degree and either a Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) credential. Experience with adult and child neurological speech and language disorders, including aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, dysphagia, laryngectomy, stuttering, and voice disorders. Experience with head and neck cancer, tracheostomies, cognition, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and modified barium swallow studies. Licensure in Speech Pathology required in Michigan (or temporary license during CFY). Valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to work Home Care Line.
