Docked adjacent to Sparkman Wharf, Craft features an open-concept kitchen, handcrafted cocktails, and chef-driven cuisine served against the backdrop of Tampa's beautiful waterways. We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef / Cook who takes pride in creating exceptional desserts and baked goods. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced culinary environment, have a creative eye, and want to be part of a team that delivers memorable guest experiences, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products with consistency and attention to detail.
• Decorate pastries using a variety of techniques including piping, glazing, icing, and garnishing.
• Monitor baking processes to ensure product quality and presentation standards are met.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal offerings and specialty desserts.
• Assist in menu development and stay current on industry trends and techniques.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Properly storing and rotating ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering needs.
• Supporting the culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences for every guest.

What You'll Bring to the Crew

• Minimum of 3 years of pastry, baking, or related culinary experience.
• Strong understanding of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation.
• Creativity and passion for developing new ideas and menu items.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes consistently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, balance, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work aboard a vessel that may be away from dock for several hours at a time.
• Ability to work in a tight kitchen environment.
