Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs, strengths, and challenges facing students.

• Implement evidence-based therapies (such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy) tailored to individual student needs.

• Collaborate closely with school personnel, including teachers and administrators, as well as psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure a coordinated care approach for each student.

• Educate students and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, family therapy, and group therapy, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to engage students actively.

• Develop, execute, and regularly evaluate treatment plans in partnership with the treatment team, incorporating feedback from students and families.

• Advocate for student rights and needs within the complex mental health system, assisting families in accessing necessary resources.

• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducational workshops, focusing on resilience-building and coping strategies.

• Participate in discharge planning meetings and follow-up sessions to ensure continuity of care and successful reintegration into the school environment.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
