Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance use histories, determining their strengths, challenges, and primary needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans that align with clients' personal goals and our organizational objectives.

• Engage clients in therapeutic sessions to explore and address underlying issues contributing to their substance dependencies and mental health conditions.

• Monitor and document client progress, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess treatment efficacy and recommend modifications as needed.

• Facilitate case conferences with various healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client treatment and recovery.

• Educate clients about available resources, community support services, and coping strategies to aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Act as a liaison to provide advocacy and support within the legal system when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work predominantly with clients at our remote detox center, serving a diverse population who require specialized support for substance use disorders combined with various mental health challenges. Your ability to connect empathetically with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures will be critical in establishing trust and fostering effective therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is preferred, ensuring a solid theoretical foundation in social work principles.

• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois or the eligibility to obtain licensure.
