Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and comprehensive psychosocial evaluations to accurately gauge the needs of clients entering the detox program.

• Develop individualized treatment plans, presenting these to the Clinical Diagnosis and Review Panel (CDRP) and overseeing the approval process to ensure alignment with best practices in addiction therapy.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical case conferences, sharing insights and strategies with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care and treatment modalities.
\n
• Deliver educational lectures focused on chemical dependency, helping clients and their families better understand the nature of addiction and the recovery process.
\n
• Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to clients' specific recovery needs while adopting trauma-informed care principles.
\n
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family systems, addressing complex dynamics within these groups.

• Offer case management services that include resource coordination and referrals, ensuring that clients have access to comprehensive support systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients we serve are individuals facing various degrees of substance use disorders, often coupled with co-occurring mental health challenges. You will work closely with a diverse population, from adolescents struggling with early substance use to adults navigating recovery in a supportive environment. Your role will not only emphasize individual counseling but also foster family involvement, recognizing the crucial role loved ones play in the recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required.

• Valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate supervised experience in addiction medicine therapy within the last five (5) years is essential.

• Prior exposure to detoxification environments and familiarity with the challenges faced by individuals in early recovery is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
