Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity, making a significant impact in the lives of students with diverse learning needs. This role offers the chance to work within specialized settings such as Pathways (supporting students with multiple disabilities), KEY (focusing on Autism spectrum), and inclusive classroom programs serving K-12 students.

With 35 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educational teams and families to craft meaningful learning experiences and foster student growth across a range of educational environments. Multiple positions are available, ready for immediate start and continuing through June 11, 2027.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active Special Education licensure and certification in Connecticut
• Demonstrated strong experience in school-based special education environments
• References available upon request to support professional background
• Comfortable working with diverse populations and adapting strategies to various learning needs
• Skilled at developing and implementing IEPs and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in Pathways (multiple disabilities), KEY (Autism), and/or inclusive K-12 settings highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support tailored to student IEPs
• Adapt general educational curriculum for special education students, ensuring accessibility and progress
• Foster positive, inclusive classroom environments that promote student engagement and success
• Collaborate with school professionals and families to maximize student progress
• Monitor, document, and report on individual student achievement and program effectiveness
• Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
