Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Special Education Teaching License
• Experience working with PreK-2 students in inclusive or resource settings
• Strong understanding of CTSEDS paperwork, evaluations, and participation in PPTs
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive, student-centered approach and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Complete and maintain CTSEDS paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Conduct educational evaluations and assessments as needed
• Actively participate in PPT meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each student
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
