Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Comfort Orthoprime Clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and symptoms to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, incorporating techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality application.
• Educating patients about their conditions and demonstrating the correct usage of therapeutic exercises tailored to their specific recovery goals.
• Administering treatments, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, or massage, to promote healing and improve mobility.
• Assisting patients in using mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers, ensuring they can navigate their environments safely.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, tracking goals and treatment outcomes to adjust plans as necessary.
• Guiding patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises to support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient population, including children and adults with orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery needs, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with various diagnoses, allowing you to expand your clinical experience and expertise.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient interaction.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including word processing and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, adjusting techniques based on individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience in outpatient rehabilitation is strongly desired, as you will need to quickly adapt to our clinic's processes and patient flow. New graduates are welcome and will receive structured mentorship to support their transition into practice.
