About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Distribution to join their Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, strategic leader with a strong background in distribution and supply chain management. This role is pivotal in owning and scaling the omni-channel distribution network, with a focus on e-commerce, wholesale, and retail fulfillment. Responsibilities include developing and executing the end-to-end distribution strategy, managing 3PL relationships, and ensuring operational compliance to meet the company's standards. The VP of Distribution will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, managing the distribution budget, and building a high-performing team. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive distribution and supply chain leadership experience, with a proven track record in both company-owned and 3PL operations. The role requires a deep understanding of warehouse and fulfillment operations, including labor models, productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy. Experience in omni-channel fulfillment and a strong background in WMS, ERP integrations, and operational reporting are essential. The ideal candidate will have executive-level leadership experience, be highly hands-on, and be willing to spend significant time on-site at distribution and fulfillment facilities. The role demands a leader who can drive operational excellence, build strong external partnerships, and ensure the company's mission of making a positive impact on the community is supported through its distribution network.
