This is a year-round position installing HVAC systems for residential new construction and commercial projects, with no on-call schedule and opportunities for advancement.

What You'll Be Doing

Install HVAC systems for residential new construction and commercial projects

Install ductwork, furnaces, air conditioning units, rooftop units (RTUs), and related equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specifications

Ensure installations meet local codes, safety requirements, and company quality standards

Troubleshoot installation issues and verify proper system performance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Collaborate with supervisors, team members, customers, and other trades on-site

Work independently while managing multiple project priorities

Qualifications

Previous HVAC installation experience

Experience with residential new construction and/or commercial HVAC projects

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

Knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, furnaces, air conditioners, and RTUs

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Dependable work ethic and attention to detail

Preferred Experience

Commercial HVAC installation

New construction projects

Leadership or crew lead experience

Strong customer service and communication skills

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jamesville, NY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
