Director Development Program Management

Director-level program management role overseeing drug development programs from preclinical through commercialization. The position requires leading cross-functional teams, establishing strategic plans, and managing budgets and timelines while mentoring junior staff and influencing organizational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic program teams and governance meetings with Global Program Head
Develop integrated program plans including goals, budgets, and timelines; monitor execution
Identify program risks and drive development of risk management and issue resolution plans
Coach and mentor junior colleagues; manage direct reports and cross-functional collaborations
Monitor progress against program goals and report accurately to senior leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree minimum
12+ years of project/program management experience, preferably pharmaceutical industry
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong presentation and critical thinking abilities
Proficiency with project management systems (MS Project, SharePoint)
Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills
Experience navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments
