Assistant Town Attorney

The Town of Hamden announces the recruitment for the position of Assistant Town Attorney. Interested candidates may submit a resume to the Human Resources Department.

Salary: $40,000

Location: 2750 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.

Job type: Part-time with insurance benefits.

Department: Town Attorney's Office

General Statement of Duties: Performs legal work, including litigation of all types and matters for and against the Town of Hamden, including representation of Boards, Commissions and Officials with significant emphasis on Fair Rent and Housing matters and hearings.

Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school plus a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience preferred. Must be a member of the Connecticut Bar and eligible for membership in the Federal Bar.
