Drive Thru Operator

Zacks Family Restauant

Job Description

The Drive Thru Operator plays a crucial role in delivering efficient and friendly service to customers at the drive-thru window. Working as part of a small team, typically consisting of 2-3 operators per shift, this role focuses on order taking, cashiering, and providing customer assistance during regular day shifts. The operator regularly uses Point of Sale (POS) systems and reports directly to a supervisor or shift lead.

Responsibilities

Take customer orders accurately and promptly
Handle cash and process payments efficiently at the register
Assist customers with questions or concerns to ensure a positive experience
Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff to coordinate orders

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cash handling and operating POS systems
Strong customer service skills
Effective communication abilities
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork and collaboration skills
