Associate Attorney Real Estate and Land Use

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Real Estate and Land Use to join its Roseland, NJ office. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Duties Handle land use laws and regulations. Manage redevelopment laws and regulations. Oversee permitting and approvals with planning and zoning boards. Address zoning changes and condemnation issues. Conduct contractual negotiations. Manage NJDEP permitting and appeals. Requirements JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices. Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Work independently and effectively within a team. Develop new relationships and foster teamwork at all levels. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills. Manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in New Jersey. Skills Knowledge of land use and redevelopment laws. Experience with planning and zoning boards. Strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in managing NJDEP permitting and appeals.
