Your Role in Healthcare

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing relevant tests, and developing tailored treatment strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health concerns in tandem with physicians or independently as credential dictates
• Providing education to patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management
• Administering prescriptions and therapeutic interventions aligned with your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up and chronic care management initiatives for patients
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver complete and logical care
• Accurately documenting all information in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education & Credentials

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in New Jersey
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
