Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews.
• Order, perform, and interpret various diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies, ensuring prompt diagnostics.
• Diagnose and treat a wide array of urgent conditions and illnesses, adapting treatment plans in real-time based on patient responses.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans for chronic diseases while also addressing acute health crises.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor patient progress, adjusting prescriptions based on therapeutic responses.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
• Empower patients and their families through education on managing health conditions and fostering preventive care practices.
• Support patient engagement in their care and promote lifestyle changes that enhance overall health outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with diverse populations comprised of adults and children seeking immediate care for acute medical issues. This includes, but is not limited to, respiratory infections, minor injuries, and other urgent health concerns. Your role is vital in ensuring continuity of care and transitions to primary care when necessary, thereby improving systemic healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies; a Master's degree is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency room, or hospital setting.
• Current and valid California State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and active DEA number.
• In-depth knowledge of regulations pertaining to patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure, exhibiting both patience and adaptability in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, dependent on experience.
