Senior Accountant

Location: Hartford, CT (Fully Onsite) Salary: $70,000 - $76,000 Are you an experienced accounting professional looking to join a collaborative and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support a variety of accounting operations, financial reporting activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end processes. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Manage cash activity, deposits, and related reporting Process accruals, allocations, and other monthly accounting entries Review accounts payable, invoices, and financial transactions Support fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis Support month-end and year-end close processes Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close activities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
