Director Of Rehabilitation ServicesOregon Health and Sciences University seeks applicants for a full-time Director of Rehabilitation Services position at our facility in Portland, Oregon. This position directs all aspects of Rehabilitation Services management and ensures the provision of quality patient/family centered care.Function/Duties of Position:Directs all aspects of management and ensures the provision of quality patient/family centered care for assigned service lines or areas; provides leadership development, implementation and evaluation of policies. Procedures, strategies and services for assigned service lines; assures interdisciplinary collaboration among staff and leadership to optimize care and work environment; works with physician and administrative partners and other disciplines to maximize interdisciplinary care, sets priorities in accordance with overall institutional goals and departmental objectives, represents Rehabilitation Services and OHSU on projects and program leadership. Additionally, the Rehabilitation Director will oversee strategic planning for rehab related programs within OHSU Health System to ensure system-wide strategy and vision. The position also includes a.1 FTE faculty appointment including coordination for OHSU based faculty and direct teaching in the OHSU/OIT DPT Program.Required Qualifications:The position requires a Master's Degree or foreign equivalent in Rehabilitation or relatedLicense or eligibility for same as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist60 months of experience in Rehabilitation ManagementExperience must include managing multiple units; overseeing integrated OT, PT, and SLP services across inpatient and outpatient settings; developing a neurodevelopmental rehabilitation program3 years' experience leading interdisciplinary teams in complex, matrixed organizations; and leading interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams within pediatric and/or adult hospital and outpatient settings
