Senior Manager - Compliance Surveillance (VP)

Gresham Hunt have partnered with the compliance function of a leading global financial services platform, renowned for its presence across energy, commodities, and financial markets. With operations spanning more than 20 offices worldwide and a client base that includes major commodity producers, hedge funds, and asset managers, this firm offers genuine breadth of exposure and a high‑calibre team environment. The Role You'll sit within a dedicated surveillance function, taking ownership of trade activity and communications surveillance across a wide range of asset classes including Cash Equity, Fixed Income, Commodities, and Derivatives (Futures, Options, Swaps) across multiple exchanges and trading venues. This is a hands‑on role with real impact: reviewing and dispositioning alerts, escalating true positives with clear rationale, producing surveillance metrics, and actively contributing to the ongoing improvement of the surveillance framework. You'll also act as a subject matter expert, providing counsel to advisory compliance colleagues and liaising with business stakeholders across the organisation. Responsibilities Conducting e‑communications, voice, and trade surveillance for US Broker Dealer and FCM business lines Managing alert queues, documenting determinations with clear reasoning Escalating potential violations to senior management with full supporting rationale Contributing to UAT, calibration testing, and system quality checks Staying current on regulatory developments across SEC, FINRA, NFA, and CFTC Experience required Solid existing surveillance experience within a financial markets environment Strong understanding of financial markets and relevant asset classes Sharp analytical skills and confident communication across all levels A self‑starter mentality with the ability to juggle multiple priorities FINRA Series 7/24, NFA Series 3, CAMS certification, and experience working with or for a regulator. #J-18808-Ljbffr Gresham Hunt
