CNC Programmer

Job Details We are an Aerospace manufacturing company looking to hire a CNC Mill Programmer to join our growing team. This is a permanent, full‑time position in our Engineering team. The role offers a competitive salary of $55-$65 per hour and a benefits package. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for milling machines and horizontal mills using Fanuc controls. Use Mastercam, Solidworks and CIMCO software to design and optimize machining processes. Interpret technical drawings and specifications to create and modify NC codes. Perform regular tests and inspections to ensure that machines are working optimally. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Provide technical support and training to machine operators as needed. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in the engineering industry. Proficient in CNC programming, including the use of Mill, Fanuc controls, NC Codes, Solidworks, Haas, CIMCO, and horizontal mills. Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and production methods. Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of industry safety protocols and regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. A continuous improvement mindset with a strong desire to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
