Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients, addressing their unique mental health needs.
\n
• Offer individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and EMDR.
\n
• Engage actively with clients, providing a compassionate listening ear while employing proven therapeutic techniques.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to track client progress and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions to stay current with best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT position focuses on providing support to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will work with individuals facing various challenges related to emotional trauma, behavioral issues, relationship dynamics, and mental health disorders. A substantial part of your role will be to understand and respect the cultural and individual differences that each client brings to the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program specializing in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Possession of a valid and active LMFT license with no restrictions.
\n
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills—both verbal and non-verbal—for effective bilingual psychotherapy sessions.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, particularly working with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Demonstrable cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of various family systems.
\n
• Proficiency in using EHR software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant digital platforms.

• Willingness to provide telehealth services from a HIPAA-compliant environment and perform in-person sessions in our outpatient office.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specific training in therapeutic modalities including but not limited to CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.

• A specialization in areas like Trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, Grief and Loss, or Perinatal Mental Health.

• Experience working within an insurance panel, ensuring the provision of in-network services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
