These roles support a variety of students and programs across several sites, offering you the opportunity to showcase your skills, grow your experience, and work in vibrant educational settings near Lakeville, MN. This district is seeking passionate educators who are ready to start as soon as possible, with the school year for students beginning September 8th and contracts running through June 2027.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid and active Minnesota teaching license required for all applicants.
• Previous experience in special education highly preferred.
• Prior work within the district: please confirm there were no conflicts or adverse endings to previous employment.
• Strong instructional, classroom management, and IEP implementation skills.
• Experience teaching a variety of disability categories at the K-12 level is advantageous.
• Flexibility and willingness to be considered for multiple sites—please indicate your location preferences and openness in your application.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate records and effective ongoing communication with families.
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment.

These are full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week positions, offering you consistency and the chance to truly connect with your students and colleagues. The district works in alignment with the union pay structure; compensation is determined post-interview based on experience and education.
