Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Avis Behavioral Health Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and couples therapy sessions, focusing on a range of issues such as relationship dynamics, communication difficulties, and family conflicts.

• Designing personalized treatment plans based on each client’s unique circumstances, utilizing evidence-based practices.
\n
• Providing therapy for specific concerns, including alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, physical or psychological abuse, and blended family dynamics.

• Conducting assessments and evaluations to gauge client progress and adapt treatment strategies accordingly.

• Facilitating therapeutic interventions for families experiencing significant transitions, such as separation, divorce, or blended family situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse range of patients, including individuals from various age groups, backgrounds, and circumstances. You will provide therapeutic support to adults, as well as children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive family-centered approach that addresses the full scope of concerns affecting family dynamics and individual well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.

• An active state license to practice in Tennessee.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related clinical field.
