Job Description

Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Hanover, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate : $308 - $332/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide anesthesiology services in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• Support and collaborate with CRNAs as part of the anesthesiology team
• Perform medical directing responsibilities as well as conducting own anesthesia cases
• Administer anesthesia for outpatient cases across all specialties, excluding cardiac and OB procedures
• Provide anesthesia care for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients (infants under 1 year for ENT tubes and tonsils on an occasional basis)
• Perform orthopedic cases with regional nerve blocks, which represent a significant portion of the caseload
• Utilize Epic (EMR) for clinical documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification in Anesthesiology (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Maintain an active Pennsylvania (PA) license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
• Maintain an active DEA registration
• Maintain current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2+ years of anesthesiology experience
• Complete all credentialing and privileging requirements within the required timeframe
• Adhere to all health requirements including vaccines, physical examination, and fit testing
