55+ year established fastener manufacturer and distributor seeks and experienced Cold Heading Machine Operator.
Duties Include:
- Set up and operate cold heading machines and other equipment in the manufacture of screws per drawing and specifications.
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment and keep equipment clean and work area orderly.
- Perform regular quality checks and document results when required using gauges, precision measuring devices and visual inspection.
- Manually handle parts in process.
- Participate as a trainer when necessary
Qualifications:
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools, dies and machinery.
- Cold Heading Operating experience preferred
- Well versed in reading blueprints, using measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper.
- Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.
