Administrative Assistant III, Nuclear Medicine

Join the UCLA Department of Nuclear Medicine & Theranostics as part of our scheduling team. This is a fully on-site role which is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful interactions with patients, and thrives working in a team-based environment across interdisciplinary teams.
The primary responsibilities of the role include:
- Coordinating patient scheduling for Nuclear Medicine, PETCT, and Theranostics procedures
- Verifying insurance authorizations & informing patients of the financial responsibility
- Maintaining appropriate documentation standards
- Coordinate front-office duties, including front-desk operations, managing office supplies, and processing invoices.
- Assist in quality improvement projects and other special projects as assigned.
Salary Range: $30.36-43.49/hr.
Job Qualifications:
- Background in customer service preferred
- Strong computer and typing skills & familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate professionally & effectively across multiple stakeholders
- Excellent organizational skills, responsiveness, and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Background & familiarity with major medical insurance plans preferred
