Claims Contract Attorney Base pay range: $32.00/hr - $32.00/hr Pay Rate: $32.00/hour on W2 Location: 50 miles within Approved HUB Location (Remote) Work Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST Training Schedule: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM PST for first week Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Legal Industries: Automation Machinery Manufacturing, Services for Renewable Energy, Legal Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Raise by 2x Overview We have an immediate need for attorneys who will be critical members of a project team responsible for handling product liability class action litigation and mass tort matters. These are not eDiscovery document review positions. Responsibilities Preparing detailed responses to sometimes complex written inquiries of claimants and counsel. Fielding sometimes complex telephone inquiries from claimants and counsel. Receiving training, direction, and oversight from project directors, project managers, project coordinators, and/or other project team members. "Best-in-class" customer service is expected to be provided to both internal and external clients. Qualifications Must have JD from an accredited U.S. law school (a foreign law degree may suffice). Active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required. Litigation experience preferred. Class action and/or mass tort experience a plus. Ability to multi-task. Flexibility.
