Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with 3 years of recent OR experience across multiple specialties for a 14-week hospital assignment.

Job Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM,
• Staff work across a variety of specialty areas including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS,
• Candidates will float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital,
• On-call required weekdays from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday,
• 40-minute call response time required,
• Call assignments rotate, with 2-3 weekday calls during the first 6-week period followed by a weekend call rotation in the next 6-week period,

Job Requirements

• Active KY State or Compact RN license required at time of consideration,
• BLS certification required,
• Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room experience required,
• Level 1 trauma experience desired,
• Experience required across Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gyn, and MIS specialties,
• At least 1 professional reference required at time of consideration,
• No active license hits accepted for consideration,

Additional Information

• Modules are completed during orientation and annually, and vary by specialty,
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration; requests made after offer will not be approved,
• Local candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted,
• Returning permanent staff must be separated from all UK-affiliated facilities for 6 months before returning as a traveler
