Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students and enrich classroom learning environments as a dedicated contract school paraprofessional. Located near vibrant San Francisco, CA, this role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact assisting educators and helping children thrive each day. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work effectively with children of various ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced classroom environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support instructional activities under the guidance of licensed teachers
- Assist students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts
- Provide classroom management and supervision to ensure a safe, nurturing environment
- Offer assistance to students with special needs as directed
- Prepare and organize instructional materials and resources
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and school events as needed
