We are seeking dedicated Forklift Operators to enhance our warehouse operations in a large distribution facility. The role involves operating an order picker (cherry picker) forklift to pick, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse while upholding safety and productivity standards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term employment and career growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate an order picker/cherry picker forklift safely and efficiently.
• Pick and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Stage materials for shipping and distribution.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating cherry picker and forklift.
• Experience in order picking and warehouse distribution.
• Comfortable working at elevated heights.
• Ability to operate safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and order fulfillment standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous forklift experience required.
• 1-3 years of order picker/cherry picker experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• RF scanner experience is a plus.
• Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabeth, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
