LifeMotion Physical Therapy and Balance Center is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Winchester, Virginia. Work Environment

Our facility is located in Winchester, Virginia, an area known for its beautiful scenery and family-friendly community. You will work onsite in a modern rehabilitation facility equipped with state-of-the-art tools and therapies. The environment is collaborative and positive, encouraging both teamwork and independent problem-solving to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. Your schedule will consist of standard hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for work-life balance while ensuring you can provide consistent care to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patients' physical needs and treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique conditions and recovery objectives.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities—such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation—to support rehabilitation efforts.
• Educate and motivate patients, as well as their families, about treatment plans, promoting active participation in the recovery process.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting treatment progress, adjustments in therapy, and patient feedback in accordance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults managing chronic conditions. Your ability to adapt your treatment strategies to meet the needs of different age groups and physical capabilities will be crucial. You will work one-on-one with patients, ensuring that each individual feels supported and empowered throughout their healing process.

Qualifications

• Current Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but we welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated passion for high-quality patient care.
• A collaborative spirit with a positive attitude and commitment to professional development.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years' experience is preferred, enthusiastic and qualified recent graduates with relevant internships or clinical work will also be considered. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and a background in orthopedic rehabilitation are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a robust benefits package. This includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching contributions, and generous paid time off (2-3 weeks per year). Additionally, we provide continuing education support of $1,500 to $2,500 to encourage ongoing professional development.
