Fabricator

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator role in Marion, OH. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for precision craftsmanship, high-quality metal fabrication, and a commitment to excellence in manufacturing operations. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and technical expertise, they pride themselves on delivering superior products while maintaining the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform fabrication and welding duties according to blueprint specifications and production requirements.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication layouts with a high level of accuracy.
• Complete machine and fixture setups independently without supervision.
• Utilize AWS D1.1 welding standards and procedures throughout fabrication processes.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components to precise tolerances.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with customer and company standards.
• Operate fabrication equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to support production demands.

Qualifications:
• AWS D1.1 Certification REQUIRED - candidates without certification will not be considered.
• Proven fabrication and welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong ability to perform setups independently.
• Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation skills required.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, measurements, and welding techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed.

Schedule & Pay:
• Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Overtime as needed
• Pay starts at $24+/hour depending on experience
