Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, employing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client.

• Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other proven modalities to facilitate effective sessions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare standards.

• Engage in active collaboration with our treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and other mental health providers, to ensure holistic care approaches for clients.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance the quality of care delivered, sharing insights and best practices with team members.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Continuously update your professional knowledge by reviewing recent research and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, each with unique backgrounds and mental health concerns. Our patient population primarily includes individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mood disorders. Your expertise will play a critical role in tailoring interventions that resonate with each client, promoting engagement and effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, or psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Demonstrated expertise in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, adapting approaches to meet the unique needs of individuals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address barriers that clients may face in treatment.
