About the Job Administrative Assistant Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Status: Full-Time Reports To: Department Director Position Summary: SELF Incorporated, a partner of the Office of Homeless Services, is seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This position provides administrative support, maintains records, assists with office communications, and serves as a point of contact for internal contacts. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Prepare and maintain office records, files, and documentation.
- Support office projects and special assignments as needed.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper.
- Perform general administrative duties to support department operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
