A full-time contract position is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to serve a diverse caseload, including the Early Learning Center and two additional school sites, working onsite with schools near the Lakewood, WA area. Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Physical Therapist license
- Fingerprint clearance through OSPI required prior to start
- Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with flexibility and professionalism
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students in early childhood and elementary populations
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports according to educational and legal standards
- Travel between the Early Learning Center and two additional schools as needed within the assignment
