Job Description:
The Social Media Analyst will analyze social media data, social listening insights, audience trends, and channel performance to support social strategy and business decision-making across a large, highly matrixed organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Analyze social media performance, audience behavior, sentiment, conversation trends, and emerging topics.
• Lead social listening analysis and translate large data sets into clear, actionable insights.
• Monitor and analyze social conversations using social listening and intelligence platforms.
• Evaluate social content performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, relevance, and audience connection.
• Turn complex data into concise recommendations for social media strategy, content planning, and business decisions.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, executive summaries, presentations, and insight readouts.
• Present findings and recommendations to large groups, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.
• Support social publishing and measurement workflows using platforms such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, or similar tools.
• Use Tableau or comparable data aggregation and visualization platforms to organize, analyze, and communicate performance data.
• Respond to social insights requests from multiple internal teams while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Identify meaningful trends, competitive activity, emerging conversations, potential opportunities, and reputational risks.
• Partner closely with communications, marketing, creative, analytics, and social media teams.
• Coordinate across numerous teams within a centralized shared-service environment.
• Maintain organized processes for requests, deliverables, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder follow-up.

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  
  
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in social media analytics, social listening, digital analytics, audience insights, or closely related work.
  • Strong hands-on social listening experience; this is a core requirement for the role.
  • Experience analyzing social data and converting findings into actionable business and social media recommendations.
  • Experience with social listening, measurement, or publishing platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Sprout Social, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Tableau or another data aggregation, visualization, or dashboarding platform.
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a compelling story from data and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience presenting data, insights, and recommendations to large groups and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively with different personalities, functions, and seniority levels within a large matrixed organization.
