Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM; Thur 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM; Fri 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM; Sat 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM; Sun 07:30 AM - 03:30 PM Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, badging activities, and other security‑related policies at a utility location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, and other critical infrastructure spaces. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Maintain accurate access logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, equipment issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, gates, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Minimum Requirements Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Possess a TSA Issued TWIC. Be 21+ years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
