Business System Analyst
Optomi, LLC
Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment company, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Licensing & Publishing organization in Orlando, FL or Burbank, CA. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document requirements supporting this entertainment company's Licensing & Publishing operations. This role will focus on product licensing workflows, approval processes, and business process improvements while helping drive enhancements across existing platforms. The ideal candidate possesses strong business analysis experience, excels at navigating ambiguity, and can effectively partner with multiple stakeholder groups to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

What Type of Experience the Right Candidate Has:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Product Owner, or Business Systems Analysis experience
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience
- Jira proficiency
- Experience supporting complex business processes and cross-functional initiatives
- Preferred experience in product licensing, merchandising, publishing, retail products, or e-commerce environments
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
- Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and functional requirements
- Facilitate discussions across stakeholder groups to drive alignment and clarity
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Utilize Jira and established business documentation templates
- Support initiatives related to product licensing, approvals, and publishing operations
