Customer Service Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Customer Service Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and current clients;
- Assist the Communications Department as needed;
- Answer incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages as necessary;
- Contacting and communicating with customers to identify RV needs;
- Ability to build value in our product;
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers;
- Supplies information to callers and records messages;
- Work closely with our Sales Professionals;
- Page individuals to inform them of telephone calls, using paging or interoffice communication equipment;
- Operates a paging system to relay in-house announcements or call individuals to phone;
- Perform clerical duties, such as typing, proofreading, accepting orders, scheduling sales appointments;
- Know our product as well as the competition;
- Assist customers through the entire buying experience via telephone or email;
- Pursue all avenues to generate sales;
- Complete daily tasks set forth by upper Management.
