BI Analyst Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a BI Analyst to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work with tenacity and demonstrate high level of initiative;
- Being proactive with providing value through the presentation of data, reporting, queries, addressing needs of department – ie sales pricing, etc;
- Record of initiating and executing business process improvements with ROI;
- Implement business process improvements;
- Work with BI tools – specifically MS PowerBI- Prior work using business intelligence tools – Tableau, PowerApps,Flow, MS PowerBI preferred.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Data ETL (Extract, transformation and load), SQL Server, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence Methodology;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field;
- Strong initiative; able to self-manage. Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done.
